Indigenous Owned Activaide Medical Equipment

Established in 2005, Indigenous-owned Activaide Medical Equipment celebrates it’s 16th year in business!

They have been serving the West Island community of Montreal and beyond ever since. With over 16 years in the industry of safety and medical equipment, you can trust Activaide to provide you with competitive prices on high quality products that will get you out there and get you active.

Activaide Medical Equipment is a 100% Indigenous owned and operated business founded in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. In addition, Activaide is a member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

Owner Christine Whiteduck-Ringuette is from the Nipissing First Nations in Garden Village, Ontario. Her entrepreneurial spirit, Christine says, she gets from her father and brother who both supported her and encouraged her. They also taught her the importance of taking risks.

Now Christine provides knowledgeable expertise and empathetic customer service to all of Activaide’s customers. She is getting ready for the re-launch of her website and online store, working hard behind the scenes on every part of the re-vamp.

Christine is proud that her business has survived this long and her perseverance must have something to do with her 4 children she raised prior to starting the business!
